RIB Clean

World champion Formula One RIB racers, Outboard Services and Marine Ltd have launched a brand-new service for RIB owners in the UK.

As you know – after a while the tubes on your RIB start to age. UV light from the sun, combined with salt water exposure, scuffs and stains quickly age the appearance of your boat.

Through our huge experience with RIBs here at OSM Boats, we have engineered a deep-cleaning process that restores your RIB tubes to their original quality or sometimes even better. We also add UV protection to our cleaning process, restoring your boat and adding value if you are considering selling it. We offer this service at an astounding £48 per metre of boat (including 2 tubes) plus VAT.

RIBCLEAN Services at OSM boats in Cornwall bring your tired and scruffy RIBS back to look like new. Just contact us to set up a new life for your RIB.

Chine Shine

Chine ShineHowever much you clean your GRP boat the chances are that after a couple of years it will start to show its age. Slowly it fades from crisp, new white to a browner shade of cream. With salt water, river water, mud, sunlight, algae and bird mess all taking their toll. Expensive and fiddly spot treatment just makes the boat look patchy.

Chine Shine, a new product available from Outboard Services and Marine, can turn this around and return your boat to its pristine whiteness. Chine Shine has even been “tried and tested” by MOTOR BOAT & YACHTING Magazine. It received 5 stars all round and was awarded product of the month.

Chine Shine is a smooth gel which can be brushed onto large areas of GRP, removing the stains rather than stripping back the top coat. The staining disappears quickly and doesn’t even need any scrubbing. Surprisingly Chine Shine is biodegradeable and is made from naturally derived ingredients.

Just take a look at the video below, then get in touch with us here at OSM boats by email, telephone or our quick messaging service on the right of this page to order your Chine Shine and reclaim your boat from the ravages of time and tide.

Water Warning System

What is a WATER WARNING SYSTEM?

Water warning system from OSMClean fuel is necessary for the seemless operation of all engines, and a prerequisite for their effectiveness. The demand for clean fuel from the continuously advancing engines is increasing.
This product series offers a simple but unique solution to this problem. Combining multiple benefits such as low price, easy installation, and a guarantee. It gives you a timely and valid warning of water in the fuel line of your engine.
The Water Warning System (WWS) is a system to detect water in fuel, as one can easily understand from its name. The detection mechanism consists of a simple yet smart and patented electronic circuit, which will detect the existance of water in the fuel. Once the water levels reach a critical point, the system will warn the user with audio and visual means, in an attempt to prevent the water from entering the engine. Such a system will not only protect your engine, but the systems around it as well and help to prevent breakdowns at sea. WWS is the ideal solution for protecting your engine from water in the fuel.
Four versions of the Water Warning System are available, the S1-200, the S2-400, the G-200, and the G3. Each version has special characteristics for special occasions, however all versions will serve the same common cause: valid and timely warning for water in fuel.

PROTECT YOUR ENGINE WITH AN ADVANCED WATER WARNING SYSTEM FOR GASOLINE AND DIESEL ENGINES. AVAILABLE NOW FROM OSM BOATS. CONTACT US NOW FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.

We have raced against the larger engines with no problems and our engine has performed all season better than we could have hoped for, given the rough seas we have battled through,” says Richard Strawford.

“On behalf of my navigator, Bruce Grant and myself I would like to give a big vote of thanks to our sponsors – Outboard Services & Marine, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, for all their help and encouragement this season,” adds Richard.
